Join us to hear from two great customer speakers on how they are leveraging i2 tools to achieve their mission.
S-Branch’s CEO Keith Musson takes us through a case study with a remarkable company: The Motor Insurers’ Bureau of Ireland. Keith will cover how the MIBI use i2 iBase and Analyst’s Notebook to their full potential to identify suspicious activities and combat fraud.
Paul James, CEO of Arquebus Solutions and former Unit Head of the UK National Ballistics Intelligence Service will share the innovative work his organization are doing with i2 to support the global law enforcement efforts to fight gun-enabled crime.
Over recent years the importance of the fast time sharing of ballistic intelligence has become increasingly recognised as good practice and become a cornerstone of successful strategies to combat the illegal use and supply of firearms. In order to ensure that investigators and prosecutors have timely and relevant information available to them it is vital to identify all potential data sources and find a way to integrate them into a structured intelligence capability.
Working in collaboration with the United Nations, Arquebus and S-branch were responsible for helping to establish a series of Firearms Focal Points (FFP's) across the Western Balkans. This presentation examines the challenges encountered, the solutions that were found, and the progress that has been made in providing an integrated ballistic intelligence capability across the region and in particular how data integration has been achieved utilising IBM i2 iBase and Analyst’s Notebook.
