    Hi Experts,

    We are experiencing the issue such as black page for scanned documents using Scanner source in IBM Navigator URL.

    We are using the Datacap 9.1.8 version and Navigator version is 3.0.9. These are recently upgraded. 

    We connected hardware scanner device and scanning the documents using DC Navigator, but after export, page become black screen in FileNet. Not able to see the actual document content. This is happening for all types of document classes in New environment. We followed same setting which we got along with the scanner setting. 

    issue reproduce steps,
    1. Connected hardware scanner device 
    2. From DC Navigator, Scanned the indexes and supported images as .tif format (while batch creation doc preview is fine and no issue with it)
    3. After Batch submit, Batch is splitting as child batch and exporting to FileNet and getting succeeded.
    4. After splitting the batch we see as child batch directory in backend and verified that image extension as .tif and page of the content/image is black.

    please suggest me where to check the page setting exactly. 

    Note: When we do with the old(non-upgraded env) DC Navigator environment, it is working and able to see the document page clearly after export into FileNet repository (After splitting the batch we see as child batch directory in backend and verified that image extension as .tiff and page of the content/image is clear and same getting exported to FileNet).

    I am not sure I understand exactly what's happened but you must check first that the Split batch  is working correct. Have you checked?
    as I understand the content of your new document in FileNet or in P8 ? is black after inserted in your "document management"
    please give here more details
    BUT do not forget:
      Datacap 9.1.8 has some fixes which resolve  some SplitBatch problems.
    Please get a look to the fixes and it would be good to install the interim fix 2 and 3 which will include everything on your Datacap 9.1.8 and check if you still have the problem...

    It is fixed. It is issue with one of the tifmerge depreciated actions. I updated it and now the issue got fixed for me.
