Implication of unticking "Dynamically load WSDL at run time" on server setting

    Hi All

I have unticked the checkbox for "Dynamically load WSDL at run time" on the server settings to possible improve performance. What are the implications of unticking this checkbox and what happens under the hood?

    Kind Regards

    Jurgen

    Hi @Jurgen Schulte,

    please see the documentation: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/baw/23.x?topic=service-adding-web-services-server

if dynamically load WSDL at run time is checked, the WSDL will be loaded at run time. If not, the WSDL is not loaded (at least if the external service was discovered later than 18.0.0.1)

disabling dynamic load will improve performance. Also some customers having problems making the WSDL available at run time. BAW is storing all relevant information during discovery since 18.0.0.2. Therefore, a WSDL load at run time is not necessary.

enabling dynamic load does not have that many advantages and therefore this option is not available in BAW on Containers/CP4BA anyway.
