I have gone through IBM BAMOE 9.x documentation (https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/ibamoe/9.0.x) and had a few questions.

    1. Is business central and kie server removed from ibamoe 9.x?
    2. Is business central replaced with BAMOE canvas?
    3. From ibamoe 9.x onwards we need to follow Kogito for business process automation?

    1. Yes.
    2. Yes, but also with VSCode and extensions.
    3. PAMOE will only be available starting with version 9.1 (as a Tech Preview) and 9.2 (as GA release). The 9.0 only provides DMOE capabilities.

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for your reply. Is PAMOE 9.2 (as GA release) already release? If yes, where I can find the related document?

If no, When it will be release?

Does PAMOE 9.2 also having persistence database support (product DB) to store process and task audit data?

(In BAMOE 9.0 document, I can see there is no support for kogito-addons-quarkus-persistence-jdbc) to store data.

The BAMOE 9.2 release is targeted for Q4 2024.  It will include business process use cases (PAMOE), so persistence for process state and corresponding data, as well as audit data and new consoles.

Current BAMOE 9.0 release is only for business rules use cases (DMOE), with no persistence.

Until BAMOE 9.2 comes out, you will be able to try BAMOE 9.1 Tech Preview soon which will give you an idea of what 9.2 will feature.

PAMOE 9.2 is not released, nor 9.1. For a roadmap and targeted release date if you can work with your Data and AI sales rep, we can work through the product roadmap and the expected features/timelines with product management for timelines. The nature of open-source does not allow us to commit to a solid date right now.

Kogito-addons-quarkus-persistence-jdbc is tied to assisting a data source for the Kogito runtime. In BAMOE 9.0, there is no data source persistence, so this is not a feature that was included in the release. Everything for 9.0 that's supported for the 9.0 release as far as dependencies go is a part of the release documentation found here.
