    Hello All,

I assume everyone has started having this issue. When trying to look at the XML files in the batches folder it opens in Edge, In my case. Edge evidently does not support dco.xsl translation.  Trying to open in IE no longer works. Chrome does not translate either and just shows a blank page like Edge.

Has anyone come up with a solution?  Trying to read values in hex is not easy, at least not in my head. lol

    Thanks,

    Bob

Yeah I hear you.  IE use to allow this and you must copy the dco.xsl file from APT to your application.  Have you try running Edge with IE comp mode to see if that helps?   I wish there is  a web site where you can still copy the xml file and convert it to a readable format like before.

I have the dco.xml file in the application folder. I just could not open IE.

I just found and application call Open Internet Explorer. It can be downloaded from Releases · AigioL/OpenInternetExplorer (github.com) OPEN at your own risk. Just download the exe and run it, no install or admin required. It opens IE. You have to click on the xml file and have it open in Edge or you default browser and then copy the link to IE manually. Pain but it works.

Hopefully IBM will come up with a better solution. I had a PMR on another Datacap issue and was talking to the tech and he told me there is a plugin for Chome that will work. I have not tried this. The Open Internet Explorer is working although a pain it allows me to get the formatted view.

    Hope this helps,

    Bob

Hello Bob - Great finding and yes it actually worked!    Good job!  As far  as I know Chrome does not work even if you run in IE compatibility mode.  For TMweb it works using chrome.  Perhaps support is confused between using chrome in IE mode to access tmweb vs this dco.xml decoding.

    Hey Bob,

In digging into this further, it can display the PageID.xlm correctly using your method but when it actually come to hex translation the page data it still not translating the page using your method.   see below.   Are you seeing the same thing?

Here is the old way with IE.  Properly translating the hex to text correctly.

Following your method it's still can't decode the hex...

Mine is working fine me. It looks like the path is a folder off of your c drive. I assume you have copied it from another location to your local computer. I have the same issue with it not picking up the dco.xsl file. I created a temp folder under my batches folder and copy files there to look at. A pain but it works. You have to answer Yes to the security prompts as before

    Hope this helps,

    Bob

It does.  I need to copy the xml to a folder that contain the dco.xsl file.

PageID.xml does not have a lot of hex data.    A more useful usage case would be for the page data with lots of hex.
