Hi Bob,
One way of achieving this is to use the FlexID panel (assuming you are using the DCDesktop Thick Client). This allows users to check and set page types as part of the Datacap workflow.
Unfortunately, it is poorly documented in the online resources:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/datacap/9.1.9?topic=actions-flexid
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/datacap/9.1.9?topic=actions-datacap-accounts-payable
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/datacap/9.1.9?topic=procedures-preparing-invoice-images-processing-datacap-desktop
It is also part of APT so may require an additional license. The good news is that you can see how it's implemented by referring to the APT application that ships with Datacap.
There is also reference to it in the Implementing Document Imaging and Capture Solutions with IBM Datacap Redbook:
https://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redbooks/pdfs/sg247969.pdf
If you're using Datacap Navigator, a thin client has been implemented called Classify.js which addresses the same use case.
Hope this helps!
Shaun

Subject: Datacap QC and Verify tasks
Hi everyone,
I have a requirement to have Verity tasks after Page ID and Profiler tasks. The Page Id separates the pages into documents based on barcode. The profiler queries a database based on the barcode to retrieve the properties. We want to have the user verify the documents were split correctly and then after the profiler retrieves the properties. Can someone point me to documentation on how to achieve this please.
Thanks,
Bob
