Hi Chuck. I know you have already received a response to this question separately, but posting here for others who may have the same question.
There has been a move with some GitHub sites to move away from the default branch of 'master' to default to 'main' as a more socially acceptable term. However, this has caused conflicts with applications that have previously been created to expect 'master', such as Automation Document Processing.
For Automation Document Processing, the solution is to always start with an empty organization and let Automation Document Processing configure everything for you. This avoids situations such as you experienced where the site software created a conflicting and incompatible configuration.

Subject: ADP - git repository config requirements - branch naming
We are working with a new ADP configuration connecting it to github. When trying to save the configuration it fails. The log shows the following message:
"[INFO ] An error occurred while committing to branch master for user CDD-Analyst, Repo name: CDD
An error occurred while committing to branch master for user CDD-Analyst, Repo name: CDD"
For a new Repo is it required that the main branch default be called "master"? Our repos all have "main" as the default branch name. Which GitHub seems to have moved to several years ago.
