    Is there a way to save the customized settings for the ViewerOne layout?  For example, when opening a document, turning on thumbnails section, changing the size of the thumbnails and other things like works, but as soon as you close the document (With or without saving) and open a new one, you need to do it all over again.  I am not finding anywhere you can set a default layout in Navigator settings for either an Admin to set or as an end user to save their own personal preferences.

    I do not know how to configure this. We have implemented something similar via a plugin in a rudimentary way:
    In a custom step processor the view with thumbnails was supposed to be displayed directly. For this purpose we attached a script to the viewerReadyEvent of ecm.widget.viewer.ContentViewer and adjusted the layout. Of course you can also save the settings of an end user here.
    But I think without coding you won't reach your goal here.
    Of course I am also interested in another (standard) solution - our customers have the same requirements.

    You should be able to set the default layout for everyone:
    Configuring the IBM Daeja ViewONE Virtual viewer
    viewMode parameter (ibm.com)

    But I'm not sure if ICN stores user preferences (you might want to open an ER).

    Hi David,
    an ICN administrator can use the variaty of Daeja ViewONE parameters, setting in ICN Admin desktop -> Settings -> ViewONE (or per desktop -> ViewONE). Just add a New entry in the additional settings sections.
    E.g. to turn on the thumbnail section can be achieved with the viewMode parameter

    It cannot be achieved by the user, with the current ICN architecture, I guess.
