Content Manager OnDemand for Multiplatforms v10.5.0.8 fix pack is now available and delivers HTML5 Line data viewer enhancements, together with deployment and security enhancements.

Highlights

  • HTML5 Line data viewer enhancements.
    • Support for Content Security Policy.
Content Security Policy (CSP) is an added layer of security in a browser that helps mitigate attacks like data injection and Cross-Site Scripting (XSS).  See Improving browser security with Content Security Policy.

    • Provide CMOD usability enhancements for mobile devices in IBM Content Navigator*. Planned for future ICN availability.

  • Support for ARSACIF running as 64bit.

A 64bit version of the AFP Indexing Facility (ARSACIF) command enables CMOD ARSACIF to run in 64bit environments including zLinux RH8, RH9 and SUSE 15 on zLinux.

  • Support disabling Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) mode.

Disabling of FIPS mode allows CMOD to access certificates stored in Integrated Cryptographic Service Facility (ICSF) Public Key Data Set (PKDS).

Note: The Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) Publication 140-2, is a computer security standard, developed by a U.S. Government and industry working group to validate the quality of cryptographic modules.
