  • 1.  Invalid email address error

    Has anyone experienced getting an 'invalid email address' error in Aspera? I am trying to send files to someone in my organization, but the person's email address is not available in the drop-down listing of names in Aspera Connect. Thank you.

    Hi Benjamin, 

    Would you be able to provide a bit more context/details to the situation? For example, which application, Faspex or AoC? and which client: Connect Alone (drive) or Web UI

    Hi Gabriel,

    Well, I'm using sendvault to send files. So, I believe I'm using IBM Aspera Connect. As for context, I thought that I could enter an email address and after its first use the application would save it but when I use the email address I want it gives me an error of "Invalid recipient".

    Hello Benjamin,

    IBM Aspera Connect is a client application that pairs with a web application. It sounds like you are describing some custom web application that IBM doesn't sell or manages. Do you know who administers Sendvault. It sounds like you need to reach out to them.
