Our users on macOS 10.14 have discovered that if they update to Aspera Connect 4.2 (current) the app fails to launch.
Unfortunately after uninstalling 4.2 and going back to their previous version (4.1.1) the app still fails.
I took a freshly imaged machine that never had Aspera Connect installed and found that once 4.2 had been installed I could never get a previous version to work again.
As far as I'm aware the uninstall process is to remove the extensions from web browsers and delete the app from the Applications folder. Is there additional steps to take to fully remove it from the system?
