We need to configure the Aspera server to authenticate to our Active Directory in secure mode (TLS). But it fails to connect to our AD server when secure mode is enabled.
Please specify which Aspera software component , Faspex, Shares, HSTS, etc...
It's Faspex, v3.9.3.
Faspex version 3.9.3 is from 2015 and is out of support since a long time.
Latest version as of today is 4.4.1 PL 7
Upgrading to 4.4.1 won't be easy. Can you provide any pointer as what could cause the TLS to fail and how to troubleshoot? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Your Aspera applications can be configured to maximize system and content security. The following sections describe the recommended settings and practices that best protect your content when using IBM Aspera High-Speed Transfer Server and IBM Aspera High-Speed Transfer Endpoint.

I installed wireshark on our Aspera Faspex server. Aspera is connecting to our domain controller using TLS 1.0 in secure mode and it's rejected. Is there a way to force Aspera to connect to LDAPS using TLS 1.2?
Hi,
Is it possible to perform inplace upgrade of our Faspex 3.9.3 to the latest version?
Thanks.
