I'm just coming off our Digital Trust Summit with a group of users in the UKI region. There was definitely a general consensus that there is a need to have a more transparent risk assessment during key digital user interactions, such as registration or logon. The challenge that some seem to have is understanding what are the right combination of risk signals to take into account? Which ones are effective? Which ones are superfluous? And if you do end up prompting for some form of friction-introducing identity proofing or authentication, how can you measure its effect on the process.
Curious if others are seeing similar challenges?
