There are many tools available also you can use  IBM New reference sets in IBM Security QRadar Threat Monitoring Content Extension 2.5.0

and send the events to Instana. or if cost is an issue yiu can go for example to Norton vulnerability scanner

Many folks have already mentioned VirusTotal (https://www.virustotal.com), so I won't go into details on that. I use it, it's a great service. I know I've heard some concern about malicious sites being able to fool VirusTotal by "detecting" it and other scanner sites for what they are, and then presenting a benign face, but I don't know how much that should be believed. 

If you want to really dig in to determining whether something is a threat and have the extra time to do so, I would recommend also considering ANY.RUN (https://any.run). ANY.RUN is really intended for security analysts who want a Sandbox as a Service, but it's still useful for casual verification and testing of URLs and websites.
