To ensure safe browsing and verify the security of URLs, there are several useful tools available. For instance, VirusTotal is a popular option that allows scanning URLs for malicious software and other threats. Another tool is URLVoid, which provides an analysis of a website's reputation and detects potential risks. Additionally, Sucuri SiteCheck not only scans for malware but also checks if a website is blacklisted. These tools are user-friendly and can provide detailed reports on the security of specific URLs.

Regarding tools for scanning suspicious and malicious URLs, here are a few options you can consider:

    1. VirusTotal: This is a free service that analyzes suspicious files and URLs to detect types of malware and automatically shares them with the security community. It's quite comprehensive and easy to use.

    2. Sucuri SiteCheck: This tool offers a free website scanner that can check your site for known malware, viruses, blacklisting status, website errors, out-of-date software, and malicious code.

    3. Norton Safe Web: A tool from Symantec that provides a safety rating for websites based on various scans. It also includes user reviews and community feedback about websites.

    4. URLVoid: This is a free service that helps you detect potentially fraudulent and malicious websites. It provides detailed information about the domain and its reputation.

    5. PhishTank: An open community that helps users identify phishing sites. If you suspect a URL might be part of a phishing attempt, you can check it here.

Some of these services offer more advanced features for a fee, but their basic versions are quite robust for individual use.

    my advice to u use IBM Q-Radar level -1 or -2 :)

    with my best regards

    Hey, there. Great question!

Many folks have already mentioned VirusTotal (https://www.virustotal.com), so I won't go into details on that. I use it, it's a great service. I know I've heard some concern about malicious sites being able to fool VirusTotal by "detecting" it and other scanner sites for what they are, and then presenting a benign face, but I don't know how much that should be believed.

If you want to really dig in to determining whether something is a threat and have the extra time to do so, I would recommend also considering ANY.RUN (https://any.run). ANY.RUN is really intended for security analysts who want a Sandbox as a Service, but it's still useful for casual verification and testing of URLs and websites.

    Best wishes!
