Hi Team,
We are going to migrate the Guardium Setup(1 CM & 2 Collector) to different location using VM snapshot and change the Network settings as per the new DC environment. Also we will be moving the same archive Server and change the hostname, IP address and user id's. Will configure the new credentials with the same old path where old archive files were getting stored. Also it contains all the archived files since one year.
Note : we are going to keep hostname as it is in the old setup in new setup
Management concern: Will we be able to restore the old archive files the newly migrated setup? Since we are using the same path and same Guardium servers with newly migrated setup, is there any challenges in restoring? If there are challenges, we need solution that data can be restored successfully for the new environment?
