  • 1.  MaaS360 App, email not available in cintainer

    Hi,

    I started investigating using the MaaS360 'secure container' App, and specifically the secure e-mail client.  I am running iOS devices (with latest version of iOS installed), and when I open the MaaS360 App on them I do not see: e-mail, calendar, contacts, tasks, notes or browser.  I only see: docs, editor, messages, settings, support and expense.
    Does anyone know why I appear to be missing some items - have I failed to set them up correctly in the admin portal or something?

    Hi Darren,

    did you enable the Secure Mail (or any other, i.e. Browser) service under Security -> Policies - Workplace Persona Policy -> Workplace -> Services?

    Hi,

    I don't see that option in the admin portal.  I go to Security > Policies and I see the list of policies.  I don't see any 'persona policy', or anything referencing secure e-mail, services etc. if I open one of my existing published policies.

    Hi Darren,

    you should enable some workplace services (Secure Mail, Secure Browser) to get the workplace persona policy available among the policies. You can check this under Setup -> Services

    I think the app is just there, but you have to be enrolled or activated into it in order to see your emails.
    [BTW, Enrolled is managed and activated is BYOD.]
