    ๐Ÿ“ŒUpcoming ATG Webinar Sessions:

๐Ÿ“† Accelerate with ATG: AI Data Assistance with IBM Content Aware Storage (CAS) โ€“ 4/29/25 at 12:00 PM ET
The common implementation of AI pipelines today is to bring data to the AI application. This works well when your dataset is relatively small and co-located but challenges arise in data scaling capacity, operations, and fidelity. The effective way to address this challenge is to push AI processing closer to where the data is. This concept is "AI Content-Aware Storage (CAS)." The vision of content-aware storage is to enable intelligent storage to process data for AI applications. It can also orchestrate, and catalog information based on regular and custom metadata fields. Content Aware Storage can leverage NVIDIA Blueprints and NIMs to accelerate the retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipeline by incorporating storage and storage metadata in the Continuous Data Ingest and vector DB management. Join the Advanced Technology Group and Expert Chris Maestas for an exciting session on April 29th. Register today!

    ๐Ÿš€ IBM Storage Corner

IBM's Diamondback Tape Library was prominently featured within the ATTO Technology booth at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) event, highlighting enterprise-class tape innovation. Other leading tape technology providers, including Quantum and Spectra Logic, were also in attendance, joined by a range of smaller tape ecosystem vendors. Tape remains prominent in the media and entertainment industry, addressing the challenge of managing vast libraries of high-resolution content-from raw footage to finalized productions-in a cost-effective manner.

IBM's Diamondback Tape Library attracted significant attention for its precision robotics, integrated LED signaling, and signature mechanical sound, which showcased its high-density architecture, offering up to 27PB of native capacity (LTO-9) in a single rack. Attendees noted its compelling cost-per-gigabyte advantage compared to hyperscale cloud storage, along with its streamlined deployment and simple management.

The ATTO XstreamCORE can enhance the deployment of the IBM Diamondback Tape Library by seamlessly linking high-capacity tape storage to Ethernet networks. This offers a cost-effective and efficient way to archive valuable assets and streamline post-production backups. This integration ensures larger studios can preserve their creative output while maintaining accessibility within their existing infrastructure.
