PROCESS MODEL 5 EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN

    Hi!

I am currently writing my master thesis and I have an urgent question regarding my analyses.

    In brief my research question:

Experimental design: Process Model 5 Hayes

IV: Digital Product Passport (3 conditions: High Sustainable DPP; Low Sustainable DPP; Control condition/No DPP) > I made dummy variables 0,1,2 for DPP (see variable DPP)

    DV: Sustainable Purhase Intention

Mediator: Label Helpfulness (these items were only visible for the experimental groups: High sustainable DPP and Low sustainable DPP > not for control condition)

    Moderator: Psychological Barriers

    Control variable: Age

    I Computed means for all variables (PI_mean, PB_mean, LH_mean)

    • When I added 'Label Helpfulness' as a mediator I first got an error > because SPPS told me that this mediator is not applied to all conditions. 'Label Helpfulness' was indeed only measured in the two experimental conditions > should I do something with this when I enter the variables in PROCESS? I already tried to make 2 seperate interaction terms as a mediator, but this didn't work either.
    • I tried again, and now the output shows up. However, it says the sample is only 183, but the dataset contains 385 rows (these are not all fully completed, and certain conditions had to answer additional questions)

Could someone help with these two questions?

    Thanks in advance :)

    Kind regards,

    Myrèse
