    Hi Gaby, welcome to the community!

    We've had quite a bit of interest in this area at our recent monthly virtual meetups. How to get started, how to make the switch from another career path, etc.

    We were thinking of hosting either a meetup or an "ask me anything" session on the forum. We'd invite a few of our IBMers who either work with beginner data scientists or have relevant work/career experience of their own. Let me know if that sounds interesting.

    I'm Shovit Bhari, joined IBM last week as Data and AI Technical Specialist. I was in an Academic for almost 15 years, decided to get out of comfort zone and explore the field of Data Science, AI, and Quantum Computing around 2019. Here I am as a Data Scientist at IBM. Everyday is a new learning opportunity and I am here to learn, grow, and innovate with IBM.
