  • 1.  Setting up/Installation IBM WebSphere Application Server on OpenShift

    Posted Mon November 13, 2023 01:01 AM

    Hi,

As all traditional set-up is moving to cloud-native environment adoption, I am looking for any step-by-step guide that could help me get started on installation/setting up WebSphere Application Server 8.5.x or 9.x on OpenShift. I am familiar with on-prem traditional installation and application deployment. Appreciate if this community could help me out.

    Regards,

The GitHub for tWAS has a very good guide.  I created a Tekton Pipeline for tWAS, if you want an example of the CI/CD pipeline in OCP.

You can also use the Transformation Advisor to assess your application and let it generate the deployment assets like jython scripts, Dockerfile and more. For more details, see Application Modernization and how can Transformation Advisor help - IBM Documentation
