Her current role is to work with her sales team and partners to develop quality solutions for Mainline clients while maintaining the most cost effective design to meet their customer’s objectives and satisfaction. Part of her job is being an advocate for her clients - understanding their business and their challenges, helping escalate problems, ensuring prompt execution and putting ideas and solutions in front of them, which are relevant to their industry. Laura is skilled in iSeries external storage, mainframe attached storage, and distributed/open storage workloads with experience in virtualization, cyber resiliency, high availability solution planning and disaster recovery design across all industries.
Laura is a lifelong learner, mentor, IBM Champion for 6 years in a row, co-author of professional certifications, speaker at technical conferences, and creator of video and written blogs for Mainline Information Systems social media.
Jessica Johnson, FlashSystem Leader, IBM
Jessica Johnson is an IBM FlashSystem Sales Leader. Jessica is passionate about Flash technology and working with IBM Partners and Clients to solve their business needs. Starting this year, she gained responsibility for IBM’s FlashSystem growth and enhanced product visibility. She leads the IBM FlashSystem technical sales professionals who share her passion for client success. Prior to her current role, she was a Power Systems Ecosystem Sales Manager. She has a strong background in Storage and Tape as she has held multiple roles since joining IBM in 2000.
