Hello. It's detailed at the url that Patrik has posted.
The issue is that in systems with Global Mirror or Global Mirror with Change Volumes the upgrade can trigger a node failure=restart. It occurs not only from 8.5.0.9, in our case we have some systems on 8.5.0.7 than couldn't be upgraded until now and others at 8.6.0.0 that must wait until the release of 8.6.0.3.
Regards.

This is interesting what is the issue between 8509 and 85010 which causes the upgrade error on the 2076-724?

Yes, as Patrik said the SVAPAR-112525 has been solved on that release. I also have been told that the same will occur at the next LTS 8.6.0.3.

Hello Guys,
I recently upgraded from 8.5.0.8 to 8.5.0.9. I had to hoped to go all the way to 8.5.0.10 but was presented with warnings that stopped my upgrade to due concerns about unfixed issues with 8.5.0.10 and Remote Copies/replication? I opened a ticket and Christian Schroeder who agreed saying that the changes with 8.5.0.10 and Remote Copy were so processor intensive that an older unit like the v7000 G3 (2076-724) might take a significant performance hit.
I see that as of Jan 26th 2024 newer 8.5.0.11 code is available. Has the newer code somehow addressed Christian's concern?
