  • 1.  Initializing Informix Storage Manager

    I am in the process of initializing Informix Storage Manager for the first time, I believe I have to login in as Root, and type ism_startup -init. Is there anything else I should be doing, I just want to make sure I understand all of the prerequisites?

    Just make sure that is the only time you do it, because it is a command that can ruin your configuration.

    Hi Bonnie, and  thank you for your response. I did only use the command the initial time I brought up Informix so it looks like I am in the clear!
