We have IBM Storage Insights Edition(basic one). A great tool which gives lots of informations at a glance. Now, soon there will be a 'Redesigned Storage Insight Interface', the preview of that is already available.
Now, we keep getting 'Advisory' from SI, like: 48.63 TB isn't used and can be reclaimed. See Understanding and monitoring capacity in the IBM Hyper-Scale Manager for IBM Spectrum Accelerate Family Redbook. Is it referring to sg248267 redbook, as we have IBM A9000R.
But, it never gives more info on it. So how to reclaim it and where to look at to start that process.
Second e.g.: Set your estimated data reduction ratio (of the expected workloads) in 1 System to improve the calculation accuracy of their Projected Capacity. So, how and where to do this.
Third e.g: 4 [hosts] are connected to less than 4 system modules, which may result in performance impact. We can easily identify it and resolve it.
But for the 'reclaim' of storage part,and DRR settings part, there is no good details in it. Please advise , if there is some documentation on it.
