Hello Pablo,
I have searched for a while in the past for a documentation explaining in depth the tables/fields of the TSMDB1 database for Spectrum Protect to no avail.
So I interpret as far as I get and extract some data that seems meaningful.
Do yo know this page: GitHub - thobiast/tsm_sql: Useful SQL Statements for TSM
There are some sql scripts to extract data, like OCCUPANCY, OBJECTS, SUMMARY - I find them very useful and an excellent starting point. Although they were written initially for TSM5 and 6, they work -maybe with some minor changes- in ISP8 also. Some knowledge of SQL helps, there is plenty of DB2 SQL documentation on IBM and other sites.
In fact, starting from those scripts, through the years I have set up a set of sql queries generating csv files and displaying them in some kind of web page dashboard to have a direct glimps of what is going on and some other sql/csv output for details on subpages.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards, Igor
