As John S. indicated previously, RD&T V.9.0 uses Install Manager to install the RD&T executables from an encrypted location on disk to a customer location in your file system. Once the executable is in place, IM will run the 1091 installer to install the emulator. It will then delete the executables. You can also run the IM installer in line mode. If this applies to your situation, see the doc for details on how to do this. Some other things to note. With RD&T V9.0 we diverge from zPDT in several places. The most obvious is that RD&T V9.0 will only run with an RD&T USB hardware key and license file. The other is that the RD&T usb hardware key is called a 1091 key. Corresponding commands and documentation are in the process of being switched over to reference 1091 vs. the zPDT equivalent, z1090.
As for service, this forum is the place to go for support for RD&T. Remember, we support the installer and the emulator only. For z/OS and z/OS product support, you'll need to pursue support through an alternate mainframe supported channel.
