We are facing a problem with one of our ZPDT instances. We have two identical Linux image in that we are running ZPDT. Both has 16gb ram and 4 core machines.
We have copied the same Z/OS image volumes on the both instance and except the IP address both systems are running same software stack. In that one system we are seeing an unusual CPU spikes even there no workloads running on the system(ie IPLd the system and it is up and running state and no application process/jobs were running on the system). We noticed that Emily process is unusually using more CPU on system. We are not sure what is causing the problem. We want to find out whether it is zpdt problem or linux problem. We are kind of ran out all the clues. I am giving the TOP command snap shot for quick reference and I can get additional details as needed. Please let us know if you need any other details.
