    Hi Community,

    I'm planning to install RD&T in a VM using Linux SUSE 11 SP3.

    Could you please tell me what kind of permission Linux user ibmsys1  must have to start the RD&T installation ? And ibmsys1 or zpdt group ?

    Hi Leonardo,

     

    If you are following the Install and Configuration guide to install and configure RD&T, you shouldn't need any special permissions for ibmsys1.  There are configuration scripts and steps that configure RD&T to allow ibmsys1 to run it.  In addition you should not need to configure any groups.
