When defining any datasources on archives containing Oracle tables data, all the fields defined as number in Oracle, became automaticaly decimal(43,5) in the table  definition in connect studio !

So, when process/read  via an ODBC connect driver 3.5 definition , with a third part tool for example, Rapid SQL, the number is really represented in numéric (43,5) !       So   number 23 for example , became 23.00000  !

Is there a way to define a datasource in Connect studio related to an Oracle table without this automatic conversion of NUMBER datatype with  a scale ?

Note : in attunity connect studio, Oracle Number datatype (without precision and scale) where represented in numeric(15) (no scale) , and it was fine.

    Thanks in advance...       yves.michaud@saq.qc.ca
