I agree with Ryan that this is an option. Somewhat similar, here is some boilerplate from our process template that may help you # ------------------------------- # Assign CSV file datasource # ------------------------------- cDataSourceFolder = '\\sdx0007.....com\..data\sapexpimp\all\'; pFileName ...

Hi Shubho, a scatter plot requires two axes. i.e. an X value and a Y value so where a value is not calculated for either of the two axes it would make sense that the data point would not display. I suggest that you post your script for creating the calc. There is no "is null" function in TI. Try ...

Hi Dhwani - sorry I didn't see the image that had posted, this doesn't display in the email. But I think your challenge is the same as we experienced. If you follow our approach then it seems that the set editor then defaults to All Roots not All Members. Stuart - I would also be keen to know how ...

Hi Stuart, thanks for setting out the specified behavior, it is a good idea for this question. The limitation of this approach, specifically in the set editor, is the following. By way of example: The "default" subset for our Financial Period dimension is defined as 2019Q4&Prior. However when the ...

Hi Dhwani, I assume from your question that you want to override the default when the set editor is opened in PAW. Firstly, you need to delete any subset on the dimension that is named 'Default'. TM1 will then use 'All Roots' as the default set in the set editor. This will however have the ...

Our external consultants developed two "web parts" that we have on a "home" page to report the status. Obviously we would prefer to insert these directly on to the Welcome page in PAW but we couldn't do this. The compromise was to develop our own "home" page with links to commonly used reports, the ...

Is it possible to switch off the sort option in the default menu in PAW for selected cubes? We have some cubes with particularly large dimensions (1m+ elements). We have built hierarchies to group the elements but when our users try to sort these hierarchy elements the memory requirement causes the ...

For info, here is a script that works in my environment. I only use PAW editor (ver 2.0.41) no Architect anymore. sDim = 'ActuarialSegment:CalculationSegment'; sMDX = '[' | sDim | ']'; sMDX = '(TM1SUBSETALL( ' | sMDX | ' ))'; sMDX = '(TM1FILTERBYLEVEL( ' | sMDX | ', 1))'; If (SubsetExists(sDim, ...

I found that this workaround works: 1. Create the subsets with a name other than Default. I chose 'Standard' since this is also the German translation and still works in German language browser. 2. Create the View called 'Default' so that this is recognised by PAW as the default view but with 'Standard' ...

"I found a good work around that works perfectly. If I just delete the default subset, then it will default to "All Roots"." Do you create a default view for the cube? Or do create the default view using a subset name name other than "Default" to select the default elements? ------------------------------ ...

It seems that the user interface in the set editor has been changed between ver 2.0.37 and ver 2.0.41. In ver 2.0.37 the 'All roots' subset is automatically selected when opening the set editor. In ver 2.0.41 the 'Default' subset is selected. This however has the effect of causing the search functionality ...
