SPSS Statistics

I have used SPSS for 20 + years and recently upgraded to version 29.  I have found missing functionality in the select cases menu, accessed by selecting Data -> Select Cases -> If.  In the menu pop-up, the window on the right for Function Group is populated as expected, but no matter what I select in the Function Group window, nothing appears in the Functions and Special Variables window below it.  

Is this a problem with SPSS 29 in general, or is something wrong with my installation?

Hi. This sounds familiar. Could you open a syntax window, and type and run this:

SHOW VERSION.
