    I ever had problems with these filters not working properly on DSM.   and it looks they still dont work on DMC as well.

    This issue is not restricted to the view I am posting here,  it happens a lot across the interface/console. It simply just don't work  for several metrics. This area needs a full/complete review..  page by page,  metric by metric..

    This is the package cache view,  no filter applied.
    Now,  tried to apply a filter on "Number of executions" metric.

    Hi Samuel,

    From my understanding, here are the steps you took:

    1) sort by "Number of executions", and you get some records, with "1" in this field;

    2) click the "Filter" icon, and create a new filter as "Number of executions = 1";

    3) then you get 0 records, however, the above records are still expected to show up;

    Please correct me if I'm wrong. I ask so because I did a quick test on our playground, but didn't reproduce the issue. The filters always works as expected.

    Could you please help to provide the detailed steps to reproduce the issue? Meanwhile I'll ask team to help investigate. Thanks.

    Hi @KAI DING

    Sorry for the long latency to answer this.  I was just able today!

    Yeah.  it was basically this.  but the issue is not consistent!  I am not pretty sure how to trigger it,   But if you spend time using it,   and specially if you change the order of the grid, by clicking in a column header.  just by reversing the current order (like,  from ASC to DESC,  or vice-versa) , the grid goes empty! .

    It does not happens alwyas,  but if you insist,  and keep really trying to investigate an real performance issue,  you normally have to change the order,  back and forth,  and then you will see what I am talking about.

    For example..  I was able to do it again...

    I had a filter to show UPDATE statements only enabled.   and had this initial state:

    Then I clicked in the "SQL" column twice,   to revert the ordering,  and revert it again...  BUM,  no data..

    And no,  this is not the case,  as the data is really not valid anymore,  I had the auto-refresh paused.  so the content should be the same.
    And this is from package-cache,  and the db is quite dormant now,  so the cache is not changing too often.

    Regards

    hi Samuel,

    Thank you for the update! I've created a git issue (https://github.ibm.com/tools-for-aps/zh/issues/19644) to track this intermittent sort problem. Will let you know when we have some updates. thanks.
