    I watched a youtube video introducing the Informix Roadmap for 2022.
    Is the version of Informix vNext confidential? 🤔

    If you are asking what version numbering will be assigned to the vNext release, I think it is not so much confidential as no one has yet made a decision about what it will be called. Will it be 14.50? 14.20? 15.10? Not yet determined, or at least not yet disclosed, not even in confidence that I am aware of.

    If you are asking about the proposed features of vNext, those are confidential until they are not. Now that the vNext video from the IIUG and IBM Community conferences has been released, it no longer is.

    Art. Thank you for your kind words for my question.
    It's about version numbering.
    Considering when the 14.10 version was released, I think it is likely the 14.50 version.
    I think it is also good to have the version numbering according to the year and quarter.

    Art is correct. The version number for Vnext has not been decided yet.

    It mentions "Informix Operator update" and "as you know Informix Operator level it at a maturity level of say 3" what does that mean?

    And what is meant by "Informix Operator"?

    "Operators" are the mechanism used in CP4D to manage (in this case) Informix environments. What this means is that we are adding new management functionality within the CP4D management framework.
