while configuring smtp in DMC 3.1.5

    hello Team,
    i am using same configuration details in DSM earlier it working fine for SMTP. after upgrading to DMC those credentials are not saving tool, for test mail also i am getting below error.

    What are the options you used in SMTP setup?  If you have a case opened with the other post, we should have the trace to look at the email setup.  Thanks.

    i have raised a case with IBM (CS0241208--Issue in Target Database Post Installing DMC 3.1.5).
    and i followed below link to configure SMTP server

    For DMC issues to open a case, is there any specific portal should we use or its like normal db2 case management portal?

    You can find some instructions on how to open case and gather logs for diagnostic: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/db2-data-mgr-console/3.1.x?topic=support-exchanging-information

    When you are opening the case, for product, you can search for: Db2 Data Management Console

    Hi Shekar,

    We have given the following for SMTP to send the mail it works for us

    hostname -  IP Address (External SMTP Server relay on)
    Port - 25
    Email Address of sender - working email address

    Please try to see your SMTP IP address, port number and email address. If you are using external server SMTP mail relay should be enabled to send the mail outside.. If you are using same  Internal server SMTP. Please check the SMTP service, configuration and logs if you see any errors  in the SMTP logs for further analysis.
