  • 1.  Use WO classification drilldown in Assignment Manager advanced search?

    MAM 7.6.1.2:

I'm trying to add a WO classification drilldown to the Assignment Manager application --> Advanced Search window.

I'm able to add the a WO classification field to the Advanced Search window (copied from WOTRACK). But the classifications that show up in that drilldown window aren't limited to WO classifications, the classifications include asset and location classifications, which is incorrect.
And regardless, none of those classifications work, not even the WO classifications. When I click on them, nothing happens.

Is there a way to get the classification drilldown in the Assignment Manager advanced search working?

    Thanks.

You can solve the issue with drill down  by following these steps:

    1. Update the Class file for more search fields dialog box of the Assignment Manager app to "psdi.webclient.beans.common.ClassificationBean"
    2. You need to create 2 relationship  i.e. CLASSANCESTOR and CLASSSTRUCTURE in WMASSIGNMETN object. You can copy it from WORKORDER object.
    3. The drill down and search will start working here after.

If you want to restrict the list of classification in the drill down then create a global data restriction on WMASSIGNMETN object for WORKMAN app. The query in the conditional expression query can be used to restrict the list of classification as required.
