Need for 3rd party software products

    ZD&T provides in large part the tools necessary for complete mainframe software development (debug, file management, sort, error code lookup, abend analysis) - right?

    Are any 3rd party (ISV) tools that need to/should be licensed for the environment to fulfill testing?

    For example - Syncsort, QuickRef, Xpediter, FileAid, AbendAid, Strobe, Sysview, SPOOL, CA-7, Eztrieve, ZPSaver, etc.

    I hope this helps:

    "Any usage of third-party ISV tools must be arranged through the ISV directly, not through IBM. Usage must comply with the license terms as provided by the ISV and IBM at all times. For clarification on licensing or use cases, contact your IBM representative."
