Issue with Licence Manager

    Hello,

     

    We are using zDNT  on a AWS cloud platform. Last time we have faced issue with Licence Manager which was not accessible for zDNT instance. IBM suspected issue that LM  pin to a different hardware, hence they asked us to configure new VM & install licence manager. It was successful. Now to avoid this kind of issue in future, LM need to be configured on a dedicated hardware, which is costly solution for us. SO could you please help how we can resolve/avoid this issue in future. Can LM be configured on same zDNT instance VM's but again we have the 3 zDNT instance running. So it can be configured. We are looking for the solution.

    Regarding the LM, yes, it needs to be configured on dedicated hardware. IBM will investigate if this can be changed in the future, no promise that anything can be done. Also, the LM cannot be configured on the same instance where the emulator runs. But of course the LM can be installed on other servers where you might have running other components of ZD&T EE (if you use EE).
