  • 1.  Interactive Benchmarking - Input Data Sheet ?

    Posted Wed February 13, 2019 01:53 PM

There are lots of great discussions here on Benchmarking with lots of very helpful information.  My question is whether or not anybody has turned that into a form (word, excel, etc.) that can be used to gather the volumes ?  Something that has the volume, a description, and then a space to input it.  Won't take long but I'm happy to "borrow" it if somebody has already done it.

Bonus points if you can tell me I'm just overlooking how to upload that data instead of entering them individually.

    Hi @George McElfresh,

That's a great idea! ... Using a form would really simplify the process of updating data in one's Benchmarking project.

Let's see if one of our community peers have figured this out.

Also, please consider submitting an RFE (Request For Enhancement) ticket to Apptio Support. You may also submit this idea under the "Recognized and Elite TBMA" section. You have my vote!

Thanks @Jaitabh Jewel Sharma   I'll give it a few more days and see if anybody has already built the template, if not, I'll take a shot at it and post it here for review/editing.

As for an upload capability, I think it has merit and will go ahead and bring it forward as a suggested enhancement.

    Hey @George McElfresh,@Jaitabh Jewel Sharma
I know this is a quite old post but did you ever create such a thing?  I see that JJ Brought it forward as an enhancement request at some point but did it ever get in there?

    Cheers,

    Deb

HI @Debbie Hagen    Sadly not long after the post Interactive Benchmarking got pushed aside by more pressing matters and two years later we really haven't gotten back to it in earnest.

Sadly, not much was done since. @Debbie Hagen
It remains a great idea, but seems like we may soon have a prototype ... thanks to @Guillermo Cuadrado

We're looking at this topic as we speak. @Gulcin Menekse is helping us get re-setup. Will have an update later on this week.
I'll reply also to @Julie Batty, who's also asking about this.
