I have a couple of questions that I hope you could help me to solve.
First question: In the short time I have been using InfoSphere Optim I can't find a masking function to convert character data to upper or lowercase. Do you know if there's a function to do that? If not, how can I transform character data to upper or lowercase in an Optim convert data service?
Second question: TRANS CCN privacy function can preserves 4 or 6 digits of the source identifier issuer from a valid CCN. One of the clients I support ask me if TRANS CCN could preserves 8 or even 10 digits of the issuer identifier. Is that possible with this function? If not, what can I do to resolve this requirement? I tried this using the the following function in Designer but and error occurs: trans pro=ccn, mtd=rep, pat=6c, wheninv=pre, flddef1=(name=ccnchar, dt=char)
