Securing xf files

  • 1.  Securing xf files

    Hi,

My client is using Optim TDM-DP 11.7 (Windows Server) and asked for best practices to secure Optim .Xf files that contains sensitive data (before masking) and can be read by anyone who may have access to the server before their deletion.

    Typical questions:

    • May the xf be crypted / crypted on the fly ?
    • May the files be stored only in memory ?
    • Any best practices / feedback / roadmap / customer experience you may share

Same question with csv files mapped to Db2 (nicknames), can these files be encrypted ?

    Thanks for your help.
