  • 1.  AWS S3 for Storage Profiles

    We are interested experimenting with the AWS S3 storage profile feature and based on the instructions linked below, we are unable to figure out how to enable the config for it. i.e. "copy to backup device". It's greyed out and we've tried all kinds of ways enable it. I hope that it's an easy and simple overlook on our part. Yes, we have a ticket with support but I wanted to inquire about others who maybe using this feature already? It is working? Are there any pros and cons. Undocumented features that we should watch out for? ;-)

    Danny,

    I had to go into the product options and on the archive tab, enable AWS S3 in the available file backup devices.

    We don't have that option. Are you at a higher fix pack than the base install. 11.7.0?

    That is possible.  I am at 11.7 Fix Pack 01.  I don't have a base 11.7 available.
