Data is the lifeblood of an organization, though many companies are only able to use a fraction of their data. In many organizations, over 80% of data is unstructured - and in that unstructured data lies valuable insights and growth potential. Metadata management is critical in enabling teams to know what and where their data is, and cataloging is key in activating that information for artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning. On top of that, when ingesting and storing PBs or even EBs of data, the IT infrastructure matters. It need to scale easily and minimize bottlenecks to create faster AI workflows and useful data insights.

Join this session to learn how IBM is helping customers collect and store data with IBM Watson Knowledge Catalog, and adding value using IBM Spectrum Discover, IBM Spectrum Scale and IBM Cloud Object Storage. You'll also hear best practices on how to:

    • Save time with automated metadata management
    • Easily identify, prepare and optimize data for faster business and operational results
    • Know what data you can use, and what data is compliant
    • Catalog data wherever it resides
