Hello colleagues,
i get an java.lang.NullPointerException error when i try to create a Folder Data Source referring to a folder on local disk with Excel files.
I've tested with simple c:\TEST\a.xlsx
The a.xlsx contains a single value "A" in the A1 cell.
So no special symbols in both, file path or the Excel document itself. Also, no other files are present in the folder.
I am running QMF 12.1.1.1 on Win 11, and currently am not able to try a different version, because business relevant scheduled tasks are running on it.
And i think it should work anyway, as that's how QMF12 was designed...
I've tried to query the copy of the file on another machine with QMF11 on Win 11, using the JDBC-ODBC drivers and it's working properly, so i have no suspicion of the file being corrupted or read protected.
I'd appreciate any advice that would not suggest reinstalling the 12.1.1.1 or even going to a higher version (as far as i know, it's unable to run QMF 12.2 via .bat at the moment, so that version is a strict no-go for our needs anyway).
Thank You very much and have a nice day
