As a Db2 for z/OS Data Studio user, which features today do you use and/or need the most?

Who writes your stored procedures, developers, DBAs, a mix (application stored procedures)?  Are they stored in an SCM like git?
What languages are your stored procedures written in?

They are written by developers and DBAs. We try to get the developers to write all of them.
Most of the new ones are Native SQL Procedures. We also use Cobol Stored Procedures for special purposes.

All of our stored procedures are written by developers, but with guidance from the DBAs as needed.   All stored procs in written in SQL PL whenever possible, though we have many legacy COBOL stored procs.   The source code for all native stored procs is stored in the Db2 Catalog, not an SCM.

Do you use Optim Query Workload Tuner, or mostly Visual Explain / statistics advisor?

We didn't get Optim Query Worklload Tuner to work properly, so we just use Visual Explain, statistics advisor and index advisor
