I had heard that DB2 11.5.9 will be launched in Nov 2023. Is there a definite date when its coming?

Hi Divaker,

at IDUG Conference in Prague some date mid November was mentioned in one session.

If you need the most current build for a fresh install, IBM started to ship CSBs, which have a simpler release cycle and are usually more current than the previous fixpacks. You can find them here: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6856211

I have no clue, if the upcoming Db2 11.5.9 will even supersede the last CSB, or there will be another CSB short after the arrival of the mod pack.

Thanks for the response. I am after some changes/features in Db2 Pacemaker configuration.
I had been checking the CSBs however did not find it. My hope is 11.5.9 will cover it.

Hi Divaker,

as a paying customer aka having active maintenance for your system, you could easily open a prio 4 case at IBM support to get clarification. 

Or you could check the roadmap at https://ibm-data-and-ai.ideas.ibm.com/

(Just double checked, the link to the roadmap was removed. I'll ask for a new one)

Or you have to open a new idea to get these pacemaker things supported.

Hi Divaker,

In the meantime Db2 11.5.9 became available. See also https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/db2/11.5?topic=new-1159

There was a pacemaker refresh. 

With the release of Db2 11.5.9, Pacemaker is upgraded from version 2.1.2 to 2.1.6, and the CRM Shell (crmsh) is upgraded from version 4.4.0 to 4.5.0.
