Cloudera and IBM

For the last several years, IBM and Cloudera have worked together “to accelerate data-driven decision making for enterprise customers, working on defining and executing the best solution for each customer.”[1]

With similar philosophies of Cloud first, open data, and modernization, IBM and Cloudera together give our clients a choice on how to manage ALL their data, avoid vendor lock-in, reduce risk, reduce costs, and improve productivity. Like IBM, Cloudera embraces open source believing it drives innovation.

IBM adds value across the board including easy contracting, warranty and indemnification, consolidated and global support, and delivering “better together” offerings ensuring interoperability with IBM products such as watsonx.

IBM watsonx brings IBM-developed and open-source foundation models with explainable AI workflows, and together, with Cloudera, we bring a secure, trusted & scalable Hybrid Data & AI platform with an open data lakehouse, and provide a solution that leverages their combined strengths as outlined in the blog post, Unlocking the power of unstructured data for AI: Cloudera Data Platform and IBM watsonx integration.
