To make it easier for new IBM Db2 Administration Foundation customers to order the products that are needed to set up an initial Db2 Administration Foundation environment, see the newly published Ordering Information for Db2 Administration Foundation Environment in Shopz Guide.

This guide provides step-by-step instructions to navigate through Shopz to select recommended package types, and to quickly locate and select the requisite software needed by the three main components of the Db2 Administration Foundation environment:

  • Db2 Administration Foundation for z/OS 1.2.1
  • IBM Unified Management Server 1.2
  • Z Distribution for Zowe 2.0

This guide describes how to build two separate orders; with Db2 Administration Foundation and Unified Management Server in package type: Portable Software Instance (ServerPac), and Zowe and its requisite software in package type: CBPDO.

Depending on the software you may already have in your enterprise, order content may vary.
