Today, IBM is announcing the withdrawal of IBM Data Studio support for IBM Db2 for z/OS effective on March 31, 2025. Please note: IBM Data Studio support for Db2 Linux, UNIX, and Windows is not affected by this announcement.
· The key Data Studio capabilities that support Db2 for z/OS database administration, including integrated support for administration of IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator, are now available at no charge, including technical support, in IBM Db2 Administration Foundation for z/OS. For more information about IBM Db2 Administration Foundation for z/OS, please refer to the product documentation. For more information on Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS Administration Services (a component of Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS), please refer to the product documentation.
· The key Data Studio capabilities that support Db2 for z/OS application developers are now available at no charge, in IBM Db2 for z/OS Developer Extension. For additional details please review the product documentation.
· The Data Studio capabilities included in the products below will be supported based on their individual product lifecycle plans which are available on the IBM product lifecycle website.
