IBM's Cloud Pak for Data has an ever-growing list of data source connections to choose from. If you want to learn more about connecting to data sources with Cloud Pak for Data 4.0, visit our documentation page here
๐ŸŽŸ For one raffle entry, if you've used CPDs data source connection feature, tell us which data sources you use the most often?

๐ŸŽŸ For an additional raffle entry, have you needed to connect to a data source that we did not provide in the asset catalog? If so, what was that data connection? What did you do to connect a data source that we do not provide on this list?

Thanks Thomas. Was wondering how you determined which DB2 connection type to select? Are you ever confused by the list of types?

Getting the correct DB2 connection type is a bit confusing. I rule out the obvious ones then make an educated guess based on what is left in the list

Thomas, any thoughts on what we could do to help you make that decision easier? Different way of organizing/grouping connection types? Other information about the connection type that we could surface? Filters? Love to here your suggestions as we are working on designs for improving the selection process currently.

At times it is difficult to find the correct data source, can we group or cluster them to make it more convenient.

I hear you and my team is working to make this experience better. Do you have any thoughts or suggestions on how you would like to see the connection types organized into groups?
